Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to SentryFi (also known as "Wi-Fi Security Check - SentryFi", "the App") on iOS and Android, published by Srofia (srofia.com, "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

On iOS, the Apple Standard EULA also applies; on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What SentryFi Does

SentryFi checks the Wi-Fi or mobile data connection your phone is using and shows informational risk indicators (for example login pages, DNS differences, encryption hints, speed and changes compared with networks you checked before). The App has no accounts. Your check history stays on your device.

3. Informational Check Only — No Guarantee of Safety

• Not a VPN and no protection. SentryFi does not encrypt, route, filter or block your traffic and does not protect you from attacks. It only looks at the connection and reports what it finds.
• No guarantee. A "safe" or low-risk result does not mean a network is safe, and a warning does not prove that a network is malicious. Some threats cannot be detected by any app. Results are not a security audit or certification.
• Your decision. You are responsible for deciding whether to use a network. For sensitive activities (banking, work, passwords) use additional measures such as a trusted VPN, HTTPS websites and your device's security updates.
• Use only on networks you are allowed to use. Do not use the App to test or interfere with networks you have no permission to access.

4. Free Version and Ads

The core Wi-Fi checks are free. The free version shows ads (banner, interstitial and rewarded ads through Google AdMob). Some features may require watching a rewarded ad or having SentryFi Pro. We may change which features are free or Pro at any time; this does not affect a Pro period you have already paid for.

5. SentryFi Pro Subscription

• Yearly only. SentryFi Pro is an optional, yearly auto-renewing subscription. There is no monthly plan and no free trial.
• Price. US$29.99 per year on iOS (App Store) and US$19.99 per year on Android (Google Play) in the United States. Prices in other countries and currencies are set by the store and may differ; the price shown in the App and the store before you confirm is the price you pay. Taxes may apply.
• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase. We never receive your card details.
• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically for another year at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, Apple or Google will tell you in advance and ask for your consent where their rules or the law require it.
• Cancel any time. You can cancel at any time in your store settings: iOS → Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; Android → Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
• Restore. Use "Restore purchases" in the App to re-activate Pro on another device signed in to the same store account.
• What Pro includes. Pro removes ads and unlocks extra features described in the App (for example automatic background checks, mobile data checks, trusted networks and full history). Features may be improved or changed over time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or against networks you are not permitted to use;
• copy, modify, resell or distribute the App, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
• interfere with the App, its ads or its purchase system, or try to get Pro features without paying.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services such as Google AdMob (ads), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (stores and payments) and public test services (for example Cloudflare) to run checks. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or content, including ads shown in the App.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its name, logo, design and content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, under these Terms and the store's rules.

9. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that its results are accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Srofia is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using the App, relying on its results or connecting to any network, including data loss, security incidents, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for SentryFi Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

10. Changes and Ending

• We may update the App and these Terms. Changes are shown by the "Last updated" date at the top; continuing to use the App means you accept the new version.
• We may change or stop the App or SentryFi Pro. If we stop Pro, you will not be charged for future periods.
• You can stop using the App and delete it at any time (remember to cancel Pro in your store settings). We may end your licence if you seriously breach these Terms.

11. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, have jurisdiction.
• If you are a consumer: this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may also bring claims in the courts there.
